Children from "Colorir" plan the week

It was during one of the morning activities of the “Colorir o Sábado” project when the children devoted themselves to plan their weekly activities.
With the objective of managing their time, it was proposed to the children participating in the Red Cross project to execute a schedule contemplating the activities carried out during the everyday life.  In order to facilitate the understanding of the task the weekly calendar was made together with the volunteers. The execution was done with illustrations that portrayed different activities, such as brushing the teeth, lunch, going to school and playing, etc. that were glued on a cardboard at the time they should be performed.
For better volunteer dedication and control, the kids were divided in two groups of the older and younger children. They filled the schedule individually with the activities each of them had during the day, as they were filled in their portfolios.

+ ATITUDE

The project "+atitude" is a project aimed at preventing the consumption of psychoactive substances. It is addressed to the young people from four schools in the city center of Braga. Substances that are meant in the project are: cannabis, alcohol and MDMA. The various interventions designed by the project have a strong team of volunteers and new paradigms in prevention of drug addiction. Therefore, rather than on a moral approach, the attention is placed on various dimensions of the young people’s lives, such as their free time, success at school, family life and integral and balanced  development as the true preventive factors.
